The waterfront and surrounding old growth forest land were camped on by the local Indian tribes during the summer hunt as far back as recorded time. Just as they recognized its beauty and magic, so the generations of resort guests who have enjoyed its unique tranquility, have left somehow better for the experience and eager to return. The views are an ever changing scene of whales, otters, seals, sea lions, and eagles.
